Dear Potential Candidate,

On behalf of the 2011 Election Committee, we commend you for participating in this year’s election and wish you luck in becoming an Executive Officer for the Transport Workers Union Local, 563. You have already demonstrated that you can become a leader and effective decision maker for the upcoming years by undertaking the responsibility of running for office of Local 563.

In this Nomination packet, you have all of the tools and information you will need to become a successful candidate for office. Included in this packet are the following:

• 2011 Election Notice-Nominations Guidelines Letter

You will need a minimum of 27 signatures to become a candidate for the upcoming election. Please make copies of the Petition form if you exceed the number of signatures on the petition forms.

Once you have been deemed a candidate for election, you will then receive additional campaign information. Until then, please concentrate your efforts on becoming a candidate for election by following all of the guidelines for nomination.
