Each Calendar month a question about the contract will be posted on Local 563 website.

Entries with the correct answer will be entered into a drawing to receive a $25 gift card.

Only one winner will be selected each month. The winner disclosed at the following months
meetings.

 

February 2012

In the event that a Member is directly involved in an accident at work, is that Member allowed to have Local Union representatives be present if that Member is required to submit to drug/alcohol testing?

When conferring with Management.  The Contract provides for Union representatives to be present.  Using the Contract for your work group.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

1.       Entries must have the correct answer from your collective bargaining agreement.

2.       Entries will only be accepted by email.

3.       Emails must be sent to mccormick563@gmail.com

4.       Entries must include your name, employee number and department.

5.       Entries must be received before the end of each calendar month.

6.       Local 563 is not responsible for any late or undelivered entries.

7.       Only one entry per Member will be accepted each calendar month.

8.       Multiple entries from the same Member will not be accepted.

9.       Only one entry will be drawn from the correct answers received each calendar month.

10.   Contest drawing will be held at the following monthly Membership meeting.

11.   Monthly contract question contest is open to Local 563 Members in good standing.

12.   Accredited representatives of the Local are not eligible to enter contest.

13.   Contest winner’s name will be posted on the website.

14.   By submitting an entry you agree to all contest rules and regulations.

15.   Local 563 Executive Board will determine the monthly contest question and correct answer.

16.   Local 563 Executive Board will periodically review contest rules and regulations.

17.   Any changes to contest rules and regulations will be posted on Local 563 website.

18.   Monthly contract question contest may end at any time without notice.

19.   Contest disputes must be submitted to Local 563 Recording Secretary in writing.

20.   Contest disputes must be received within 15 calendar days of drawing.

21.   Local 563 Executive Board will review all contest disputes and respond in writing.

22.   All decisions of Local 563 Executive Board are final and binding.
