I just finished a conference call with the full M&R negotiating committee.
I have been informed the Mediator has established a mediation sessions April 28, 2011 and April 29, 2011
I want to make it clear, we have not received a guarantee the Company will be prepared to present a counter proposal. The only guarantee is, we will meet per the Mediator’s instructions.

Transfer Waivers by Steve Gilboy
Dear Members,
You may not be aware American Airlines is hiring Aircraft Mechanics at different locations throughout the system. I wanted you to be aware of an option you have with regards to station transfers. If you have completed or refused a transfer recently to another location, you can fill out a waiver form removing the time lock provisions outlined in Article 12 of the TWU/AA Agreement. The time lock provisions are only waived at stations where American Airlines is hiring off the street. Should you have any questions please contact me or our office.
Transfer waiver forms are available in the Union Steward office at Hangar One.
